During the time in 2021 that we worked with Jumping Fences on copywriting services, Darian was asked to start writing a (nearly) weekly article for the San Fran Marathon blog over the summer. She decided to title her series "Battle Buddy" after a conversation she had with a family friend's young son about to enter the military. Being former military herself and starting her short-lived stint of marathon running while stationed in Hawaii, she felt a certain calling to the subject matter.
